Hot candidate emails

Hot candidate emails

Hot candidates emails are sent to the client management group as a way for recruiters to market their candidates. These can be done for one individual or several candidates together. At a minimum we should make sending these a weekly practice, but it is fine to send one every day if each is highlighting different candidates.
A candidate is considered "hot" when they are ready to go; they have a completed profile packet, and are available to start a next job in the near future.

Things to include in a hot candidates email:
  1. Candidate name and specialty
  2. Available start date
  3. Location preferences
  4. Shift preferences
  5. Certifications / qualificatoins
  6. Active licenses
  7. Any additional info that better sells the candidate
    1. Think of this as an elevator pitch – what sets them apart as the best choice for the job in just a few sentences?
Don't forget to attach your candidate's profile to the email before sending!
