Following Call Guidelines When Building Queries in Bullhorn

Building a Query with the Columns Bar

1. Manually log out of Bullhorn. Log back in.



2. Select CLEAR above the Columns view. 

 


3. Select “Columns” -> Add “Call Status” 

  • FYI - The “Call Status” Column might add to the far right of the screen. You can drag and drop to create your preferred view.  

 


4. IMPORTANT!

  1. Under the “Status” column select “New Lead,” “Prospect,” and/or “Prospect Current Traveler” 

  1. DO NOT select “Placed.”  











  1. Under the “Call Status” column select “Open” for FREE GAME candidates! 
  1. DO NOT select “Priority,” “Distribution Protected,” or “Do Not Contact” 

 


5. Be mindful of the “Last Note” column.
  DO NOT contact candidates who have a “Last Note” within 3 calendar days (including weekends).  

 


6. Save your query under the “Favorites” tab.  



 



Option 2: Building Queries using the “🔍Search…” Box

 

1. Select “🔍Search…” 

 

 

2. IMPORTANT!

  1. Add the “Status” column and select “New Lead,” “Prospect,” and/or “Prospect Current Traveler”

  1. Add the new “Call Status” column. Select “Exclude.” Select “Priority,” “Distribution protected,” and “Do Not Contact.” 

  1. Add the “Last Note” column and select “Before.” Select a date that is at least three days prior to today’s date.

  1. Example: If today is 5/21, then select 5/18 or earlier.
  1. Click SEARCH near the bottom right

 

3. Add the “Call Status” column to your view! Select “Columns” and check “Call Status"  



How to Label a Candidate as “Priority.”

1. Open Candidate in Bullhorn. Add Note and log “Talked To” call with details. Click SAVE!

 

2. Within the “Details” box, click “Select” next to the “Call Status” field. Choose “Priority.” 

3. Select “EDIT” to change the candidate’s “Ownership” to your name.  





How to Build a Query to View Your “Priority” Candidates
1. Open the Candidates tab in Bullhorn from the left-hand sidebar.

Under the “Ownership” column, type in your name. Voilà!~
